For a Service Call charge of $40, we will come to your residence and thoroughly diagnose the problem with your appliance. When you authorize us to make the needed repair, the Service Call is FREE. This fee pays for the time it takes to diagnosis your appliance and the expense of responding to your residence. We will then show you the complete cost for repair and give you our recommendations.
If you’re not sure you want to make the repair or you want to shop around, you are only responsible for the Service Call Fee.

We charge by the repair and not by the hour. In most cases, it is difficult to give you a cost for repairs without performing a thorough diagnosis of your appliance. (see Service Call Charge)

After we have diagnosed your appliance we give you the complete cost for repair and give you our recommendations.

We beat the book rate by 10% or more! We also offer an additional 10% off to our Military and Senior Citizens.

Book rate is a standardized industry time guide set forth by a committee of professional servicemen & consumer analysts to set a cap on service rates. This formula was in dire need to boost the level of consumer confidence within the industry. The Major Appliance Service National Price Guide (MASPG) is the “blue book” in the appliance industry.

Our normal operating hours are 8AM – 6PM Monday through Friday. We honor most major Holidays. If service is desired outside these hours, please call us anyway, we will do our best to accommodate your needs at our Regularly Low Rates.

We carry a large collection of the most common parts for the large majority of appliances. In most cases, we are able to perform the repair in one visit.

There are cases when the required part is uncommon, brand specific or the unit is a little older and we will need to order the part to complete your repair. In these cases, the part is ordered the same day as the initial visit. We are able to return to complete the repair in 2-4 business days. We do everything possible to expedite this process.

If you call by 11:00 am we will do our best to schedule your appointment for today, but will certainly schedule the appointment for the next business day. We use a vehicle navigation device to find the most efficient route to your home.

You have a one year warranty on parts and labor. Should a part we install on your appliance fail, AYS Appliance will repair or replace that part at no cost to the customer (see Warranty).

Yes. We are insured for $2,000,000 with Traveler’s Insurance Co. Our BEAR license number is 45537.

In most all cases we require that an adult (age 18), who can make decisions about the repair, be home at the time of service.

We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, and debit cards with the Visa or MasterCard logo.

At this time we do not sell or install appliances. We provide service for appliances needing repair or maintenance.

We do not pick up used appliances.

You can call Waste Management at 1.760.929.9400 and schedule a “Bulky Item Pick-up” or find out where it can be recycled.

SDGE will sometimes give you a rebate and recycle your old refrigerator. The number is 1.800.599.5792.
